Divorce
We handle all matters related to or arising out of divorce, including child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, spousal maintenance and the distribution of marital property. We will work with you at every stage of a divorce proceeding, from the initial filing through any negotiated settlement, or through trial and post-judgment requests for modification.
Family Law Litigation
We represent both men and women in all types of family law litigation, including proceedings in the juvenile and domestic relations courts. In addition to disputes regarding custody and visitation, child support, spousal support and equitable distribution, we also handle juvenile criminal defense, CHINS petitions and matters involving allegations of abuse and neglect. Though we are effective negotiators and often attempt to save our clients time and money through settlement, we carefully prepare every case as if it will go to trial.
Residential Real Estate
We work closely with individuals who are purchasing or selling residential real estate, from the initial negotiation through closing. We review and prepare all documents necessary to successfully complete a residential real estate transaction, including buy-sell agreements, deeds, mortgages, notes, easements and restrictive covenants. We also represent clients in real estate litigation.
General Trial Work
While we provide counsel to clients in transactional matters, such as real estate, the main focus of our practice is litigation. We handle a broad range of civil matters, from personal injury and workers' compensation claims to breach of contract. While most of our litigation involves family law or real estate issues, we also represent clients in a large variety of personal and commercial disputes, including commercial contract disputes.
